Static content pages that you will need to populate will be organized under the “Get Started” and “Info” tabs which can be found in the upper right hand corner of your site if you are using the Classic Template. These are the pages you created in the Menus and Pages section in Platform Settings. They are static pages that allow you to tell site visitors, both funders and fundraisers, more about the underling mission and purpose of your site. By using these pages in conjunction with the crowdfunding system, you can use your site with external social media channels to handle your entire online presence.
Adding a Custom Page: Click “New Page” which will then give you a multitude of options, which include changing your Page Menu, Page Priority, External Page/ URL, Page Name Menu, PageTitle, and Page Description (all listed below)
Once you have finished these steps, don’t forget to press:
*Note: These pages can still either be linked to an external URL or built internally in the edit content dropdown menu (Edit Content>Page Content).
Editing Custom Pages: The edit custom page function has moved from the Platform Settings to the Edit Content dropdown menu (Platform Settings>Menus and Pages).
Once you press “Add/Edit Custom Pages”, to change your page press “Edit” (As directed below)
Once you press “Edit Page” you are presented with the same options you had when you created the custom page.
To insert a photo into a page:
- Copy the Image Path from your Photos Tab. Example: http://dev.launcht.com/Images/uploads/5000_511.jpg
- On the page that you want the image on go to the text editor and click the add photo button which you will find on the second row of icons.
- This will bring up a screen that looks like the one below, simply copy the “Image path” into the URL field and the image will be pulled from your image library to the page.
