The Launcht.org campaign, Care for the Orphans of Kenya, was able to make an immediate impact on the children. The funds raised–$241, though seemingly not a significant amount of money–were used to build the Launcht Community Centre School in a village in Kenya. The school opened earlier this month and will provide a number of children in the community a high-school education. The education will help these children become prominent members of society and raise their standard of living.
Funds are still needed for educational materials and equipment, such as desks, chairs, computers, and textbooks. If you are interested in contributing to the school, please contact Ufai Owhaf at firstname.lastname@example.org.
